Explore new insights into the health, well-being, learning experiences, family and community experiences shaping the lives of kindergarten children and their families in Halton.

This webinar will provide a first look at findings from the 2026 Our Kids Network Kindergarten Parent Survey (KPS), a unique research tool developed by Halton researchers to understand the experiences of kindergarten children and their families. The survey explores factors related to children’s health, development, learning, safety, and well-being, as well as family access to community programs and services. Conducted in partnership with Halton’s four English and French-speaking public-school boards and Halton Region Children’s Services, the 2026 survey gathered input from 1,956 families across the region.

Participants will gain valuable insights into the strengths, needs, and emerging trends affecting young children and families in Halton. This session is ideal for professionals who support, plan, or deliver services for kindergarten-aged children and their families.
