Join us for this in-person training to learn more about the “Map My Data” feature available at the Our Kids Network (OKN) Data Portal 2.0.
During the training, you’ll receive a brief refresher on basic navigation and customization skills before diving into an overview of the “Map My Data” feature. You’ll see examples and participate in hands-on training on how to prepare, upload, and customize your data and maps using this user-friendly platform. After this training, you’ll be able to use the OKN Data Portal not only to extract the data and maps you need for your work but also to overlay your data with OKN data or use it as a mapping tool to support your work.
Please bring your laptop and a dataset to the training. If preferred, you can use OKN’s sample data for the exercises. Two weeks before the training, you will receive an email with further details and instructions on how to prepare your dataset.
This training is recommended for intermediate and advanced users, but beginners are welcome too. For beginners, we suggest watching our basic navigation tutorial before the session. If you have any questions, please reach out to Bruna at bruna@ourkidsnetwork.ca
